Sandi teaches yoga and meditation to a wide range of clientele, including seniors, teens, dancers, pregnant women, those afflicted with HIV, addiction, blindness, hearing loss and mental illness. Her brand of instruction focuses on personal growth, helping students to find their own meaning of yoga, balance and wellness.

In other studies, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics at SUNY Oneonta in 1986 and her Masters in Psychology at Hunter College in 1996. Her Masters thesis, "AIDS: An Unconventional Perspective" was published in the Journal of Social Distress and the Homeless in January 1998.
